About the Chairmen of the board

With one of Soul Music's all-time great group names, the Chairmen of the Board has pleased music lovers for over 30 years. Formed in Detroit , the Chairmen bring timeless soul, smooth harmonies, and unforgettable energy to every stage they step on. Known for their classic hits and dynamic live performances, the group continues to captivate audiences nationwide with a blend of Motown charm and modern showmanship. Whether performing for intimate gatherings or large festivals, they deliver a musical experience that keeps fans dancing, singing, and coming back for more.

What to Expect

  • Yes! Several food trucks will be on site alongside a local brewery with beer for sale. Come hungry! The Ridge will also provide free snow cones and popcorn. Stay tuned as we announce our vendors.

    In order to best support our vendors, we ask that you do not bring your own food and beverage items.

  • Any and all are welcome! This family-friendly show is great for all ages. Guests ages 3+ are required to have a ticket.

  • In order to keep our event as accessible to the community as possible, this is a contribute-what-you-can concert with a suggested donation price of $15.

    When purchasing your ticket, please select one of the three listed options: Free ($0), Suggested Donation ($15), or Contribute-What-You-Can ($1-$100). All are welcome regardless of ticket price, but all must register for a ticket.

    Any and all donations go to the event costs (ensuring the band is paid fairly and has comfortable accommodations, setting up our space optimally, hiring a custodial service for post-event, etc.) and helping us to continue offering inclusive events in the future.

    All donations are tax-deductible as a contribution to a 501(c)(3) non-profit. Please hang on to your TicketLeap receipt for tax purposes.

  • The concert takes place in the courtyard at 2011 Ridge Road, Raleigh, NC 27609.

    Ample free parking is available on our campus. Free overflow parking is available at Highland Methodist Church next door along with street parking on Ridge Road.  Parking is available starting at 5:30 PM.

FAQs and Policies

  • This is an outdoor concert. Bring a chair or picnic blanket to sit on and be sure to dress comfortably for the outside and walking on uneven ground.

    Bring your friends and come hungry! As a reminder, outside food and drinks are not permitted.

  • The Ridge is a multi-use space concept born from Ridge Road Baptist Church, the owner and operator of the campus and buildings. The Ridge takes our existing church building and maximizes the unused campus space, offering it up to anyone who needs it. The Ridge currently consists of 5 unique and independent church congregations, a children’s theater, a voice studio, a mental health counselor’s office, several cultural groups, nonprofits, and so much more. This is an all-ages show.  Ages 3+ require a ticket.

Bags will be checked before you enter the courtyard.

Food and drink will be available for purchase from 5:30PM until 7:30PM.  Outside food and drink is not permitted.

Amplified music, open-flame fires, grills of any kind, and drones are not permitted in the parking lots.  Activities which interfere with or obstruct other parking spaces or traffic lanes are prohibited.

The Ridge is located within a neighborhood in west Raleigh.  Please respect our neighbors.

Please place all trash in the cans provided and all recyclable cans and bottles in the blue bins.

Solicitation or the distribution of promotional items on The Ridge campus is prohibited unless prior approval has been received. The Ridge assumes no responsibility for lost, stolen, or damaged items or for injuries sustained on its campus.

Outside alcohol and all smoking, drug use, and weapons are not permitted anywhere on the campus of The Ridge.
